Joshua Aye vs Mel Sandison

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 07/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joshua Sky Aye (23(15) - 1(1)) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Mel Sandison(15 - 4(1) - 3) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Aye weighed in at 147 pounds, while Sandison weighed in at 146 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Proffitt, and the three ringside judges are John Rhydderch, Henry Franco and Charlie Valdivia.  

Round 1:

He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  It looks like Sandison has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Aye lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sandison recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Aye steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Aye pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook to Sandison's liver.

Sandison tries to step out of his opponents range.  Aye tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sandison attempts to land a right uppercut, but Aye blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Aye pivots to the right of his opponent.  Aye tries to land a left uppercut, but Sandison blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Aye is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.
