Joey Ronis vs David Smith

Boxing Daily Report from the Iddrisu Promotions promoted show at Brendan Guthrie Gym, Tacoma,  taking place on 06/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Washington Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Ronis (4 - 4 - 6) who hails from Tacoma, USA and David Smith(21(4) - 6) from Seattle, USA.  Ronis weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Smith weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Declan Osmond, and the three ringside judges are Jack Balch, Arnie Beaumarchais and John Sundy.  

Round 1: 

Smith advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Smith steps inside and walks Ronis down, trapping him in a corner.  Smith connects with a right hook.
