Mel Christopher vs Tapu Peka

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 22/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mel Christopher (28(2) - 12(2) - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Tapu Peka(16(3) - 11(2)) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Christopher weighed in at 111 pounds and 4 ounces, while Peka weighed in at 112 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Peka came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is James Oakley, and the three ringside judges are Max Weatherspoon, Henry Ngahoro and Aaron Glendinning.
