Peter Connolly vs Bryn Martin

Boxing Daily Report from the yahir promoted show at Kansas City Wass, Kansas City,  taking place on 14/12/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Missouri Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Connolly (10(1) - 4) who hails from St. Louis, USA and Bryn Martin(6 - 12(2) - 5) from Kansas City, USA.  Connolly weighed in at 112 pounds, while Martin weighed in at 111 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dom Quinn, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Ottosen, Phil Ekberg and Mick Bihl.  

Round 1: 

Connolly lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Martin attempts to land a right hook, but Connolly blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Connolly steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Connolly walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Connolly is on target with a sharp left hook.

Martin goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Connolly time to recover.

Martin tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Connolly advances into close range.  Connolly lands a left hook.  As Martin tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Connolly dabs at his face checking for damage.

Martin attempts to land a cross, but Connolly blocks the shot and counters with a nasty cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARTIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Martin quickly recovers.

Connolly lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  As Connolly tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Martin.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Connolly sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Connolly connects with a FEARSOME cross.  MARTIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Connolly!
