Peter Hannigan vs Jack Minto

Boxing Daily Report from the Toon promoted show at The Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford,  taking place on 18/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Hannigan (4 - 9 - 4) who hails from Hull, UK and Jack Minto(4 - 3) from Wakefield, UK.  Hannigan weighed in at 118 pounds, while Minto weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Borowiak, and the three ringside judges are David Duffy, Glynn James and Robert McQueen.  

Round 1: 

Hannigan tries to keep the action at long range.  Minto connects with a cross.  
Minto feints a cross, but Hannigan ignores the feint and is on target with a right hook.  
Minto steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Minto steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hannigan is on target with a cross.  Hannigan tries to land a left hook, but Minto sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Minto gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Minto steps inside and digs in a left hook to Hannigan's liver.  
Minto digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Minto walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Minto digs in a right uppercut to Hannigan's ribs.  
Minto lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Minto pivots to the right of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hannigan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Minto manouvers Hannigan into a corner.  Minto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Hannigan's body.  
Minto lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Minto lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Minto steps inside and drives a left hook into Hannigan's body.  
Minto closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Minto lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Minto lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hannigan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Hannigan's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Hannigan wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
