Quiqui Novo vs Alejandro Amaro

Boxing Daily Report from the Nalubamba Promotions promoted show at Salvador Mato, Salvador,  taking place on 19/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Bahia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quiqui Novo (6 - 16 - 4) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Alejandro Amaro(15 - 14(2) - 3) from Salvador, Brazil.  Both Novo and Amaro weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Venacio Amparo, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Pinheiro, Carlos Gago and Ivan Pinta.  

Round 1: 

Amaro is on target with a left hook.  
Amaro advances into close range.  Novo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Novo throws a left hook, but Amaro holds on to his opponent.  Novo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Novo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Amaro hits home with a left hook.  
Amaro lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Amaro advances into close range.  Novo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Novo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Novo throws a left hook, but Amaro clinches his opponent.  Amaro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Amaro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Amaro closes the distance.  Amaro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Amaro forces Novo to retreat into a corner.  Amaro throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Novo to the neutral corner.  He warns Amaro that he could be heading for a point deduction.
