Wayne Poku vs Tevin Bawuah

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Josh Kwofie Gym, Kumasi,  taking place on 23/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wayne Poku (4 - 7(1)) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Tevin Bawuah(11 - 7(1) - 4) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Poku and Bawuah weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vincent Lamptey, and the three ringside judges are Brad Kyei, Scott Acquah and Nabulung Ayew.  

Round 1: 

Bawuah is on target with a cross.  
Poku steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Bawuah throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Bawuah steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Poku dabs at his face checking for damage.
