Bart Perse vs Paul Minto

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at House of Blues, Boston,  taking place on 12/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bart Perse (15(4) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Paul Minto(11 - 25(2) - 5) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Perse and Minto weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Ian Noble, Oliver McCleese and Elliot Ogle.  

Round 1: 

Perse lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Perse holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Perse pushes his forearm into Minto's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Perse.  
Perse walks Minto down, trapping him on the ropes.  Perse lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Perse digs in a left uppercut to Minto's body.  
Perse gets on the inside and connects with a solid left hook.  
Minto tries to land a jab, but Perse slips the shot and counters with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE MINTO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Minto almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Perse lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Perse lands a left uppercut.  
Perse advances into close range and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Minto's ribs.  
Perse snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Minto switches the action to the outside.  Perse lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Perse closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Perse lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Perse ties up his opponent.  Perse leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Perse lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Perse ties up his opponent.  Perse is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Perse tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Minto behind the head. The ref breaks Perse's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Perse is on target with a right uppercut.  
Perse lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Perse walks Minto down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Perse hits home with a firm right uppercut.  Perse ties up his opponent.  Perse leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Perse's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Minto lands a cross.  
Perse lands a left uppercut.  
Minto throws a right hook, but Perse holds on to his opponent.  Perse throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Perse leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Perse lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Minto attempts to land a left hook, but Perse slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Perse lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Perse lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Perse is on target with a left uppercut to Minto's liver.  
Perse lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Perse holds on to his opponent.  Perse leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Minto's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Minto's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Minto's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Minto connects with a cross.  
Perse advances into close range and connects with a weighty right hook.  MINTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Minto recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Minto pivots from in front of his opponent.  Perse drives a powerful left uppercut into his opponents body.  MINTO IS HURT!  Minto almost instantly recovers. 
Perse steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Perse holds on to his opponent.  Perse is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Perse uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Minto behind the head. Perse throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Minto quickly recovers. 
Perse hits home with a firm right hook.  
Perse closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Perse lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Perse digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Perse is looking to close the distance and lands a firm right hook.  
Perse closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Perse lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Perse lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Minto throws a left hook, but Perse ties up his opponent.  Perse pushes his forearm into Minto's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Perse lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Perse knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Perse is on target with a powerful right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  MINTO IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MINTO CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Perse!
