Sid Baraza vs Rex Matiku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Ibrahim Arafat Gym, Kisumu,  taking place on 28/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kisumu Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Baraza (9 - 7(2) - 4) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Rex Matiku(14 - 1(1)) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Baraza and Matiku weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Babla, and the three ringside judges are Udenwa Lalang, Peter Kirui and David Macgoye.  

Round 1: 

Baraza advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.
