Vince Mariuki vs Salim Ngengi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 28/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vince Mariuki (2 - 17 - 2) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Salim Ngengi(22 - 2 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Mariuki and Ngengi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nwa Lugano, and the three ringside judges are Connor Kamau, Hayden Sakudao and Lisimba Dalrymple.  

Round 1: 

Mariuki is looking to close the distance.  Ngengi lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
