Obaid Akhtar vs Rob Edward

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Royal ICC, Brisbane,  taking place on 31/12/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Obaid Akhtar (15(6) - 1) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Rob Edward(10 - 20(2) - 9) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  Both Akhtar and Edward weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian McAfee, and the three ringside judges are Joel Glines, Hugh Durie and Tobias McCrea.  

Round 1: 

Akhtar hits home with a left uppercut.  
Akhtar lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Edward tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Akhtar is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Edward tries to keep the action at long range.  Akhtar lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.
