Michael Cowper vs John Giblin

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Royal ICC, Brisbane,  taking place on 31/12/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael The Marble Cutter Cowper (16(1) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and John Giblin(5 - 6 - 6) from Brisbane, Australia.  Cowper weighed in at 105 pounds, while Giblin weighed in at 104 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Durie, and the three ringside judges are Ian McAfee, Joel Glines and Tobias McCrea.  

Round 1: 

Cowper is looking to close the distance.  Cowper sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.
