Ian Gilliland vs Owen Merrick

Boxing Daily Report from the DBA promoted show at New Orleans Steel, New Orleans,  taking place on 30/12/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Gilliland (13(7) - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Shreveport, USA and Owen Merrick(29(10) - 13(1) - 4) from Lexington, USA.  Gilliland weighed in at 159 pounds and 1 ounces, while Merrick weighed in at 160 pounds.
