Mark Bay vs Joel Connell

Boxing Daily Report from the Kessels Promotions promoted show at Shreveport Vian, Shreveport,  taking place on 04/01/2036:

Clearly Kessels Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Louisiana Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Bay (23 - 20(2) - 6) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Joel Connell(1 - 4 - 1) from New Orleans, USA.  Both Bay and Connell weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Tran, and the three ringside judges are George Mattison, Wayne Beaubien and Adam Morris.  

Round 1: 

Bay lands a jab.  
Bay steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Connell tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.
