EOD Running: Pre Show
Majid Yamin vs Waqar Bitar

Boxing Daily Report from the Douna Promotions promoted show at Jeddah Naim, Jeddah,  taking place on 30/12/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia-West Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Majid Yamin (31(8) - 13(3)) who hails from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Waqar Bitar(7 - 18(2) - 5) from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Yamin weighed in at 154 pounds, while Bitar weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Hamidi, and the three ringside judges are Adnan Qubaisi, Rehan Yazbeck and Majid Abdella.  

Round 1: 

Yamin is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Yamin connects with a solid left hook.  
Yamin is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Bitar throws a left uppercut, but Yamin clinches his opponent.  Yamin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Yamin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Yamin lands with a hard jab.  
Yamin finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Yamin drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Bitar throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bitar tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Yamin digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Yamin contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Bitar attempts to land a right hook, but Yamin blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Yamin steps inside.  Bitar throws a right hook, but Yamin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Yamin pushes his forearm into Bitar's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Yamin.  
Yamin forces Bitar to back into the corner.  Yamin hits home with a cross.  
Yamin gets on the inside.  Yamin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bitar throws a left uppercut, but Yamin ties up his opponent.  Yamin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Yamin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Yamin pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Yamin lands a jab.  
Yamin is on target with a right uppercut to Bitar's body.  
Yamin lands a sharp cross.  
Yamin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a stinging right hook into Bitar's body.  
Yamin walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Yamin lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Yamin holds on to his opponent.  Yamin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bitar throws a left hook, but Yamin ties up his opponent.  Yamin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bitar's kidney. The ref breaks Yamin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bitar's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Bitar's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Bitar's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Yamin cuts off the ring, trapping Bitar on the ropes.  Yamin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Yamin lands a jab.  
Yamin advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Yamin drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Bitar lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Yamin steps inside.  Bitar sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yamin drives a solid left hook into Bitar's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE BITAR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Bitar almost instantly recovers.

Yamin gets on the inside.  Yamin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Yamin drives a powerful right hook into his opponents ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE BITAR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Yamin is looking to force the stoppage!  Yamin lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Yamin steps inside and whips in a spiteful left hook to Bitar's ribs.  It looks like Bitar has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Yamin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Yamin senses Bitar is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Yamin whips in a nasty right uppercut to Bitar's ribs.  DOWN GOES BITAR!  He manages to get up at 4.

Yamin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND BITAR IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Bitar can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Yamin!
