John Lourie vs Mark Groat

Boxing Daily Report from the Otu Promotions promoted show at Las Vegas Secombe, Las Vegas,  taking place on 08/01/2036:

Clearly Otu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Nevada Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Lourie (21 - 18(2) - 5) who hails from Henderson, USA and Mark Groat(7 - 4 - 1) from Henderson, USA.  Both Lourie and Groat weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alec Rees, and the three ringside judges are Mark Hasson, Mark Hasson and Edward Almodovar.  

Round 1: 

Lourie lands a jab.  
Groat lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lourie tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Lourie.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
