Carlos Covarrubias vs Juan Malara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Bogota Carias, Bogota,  taking place on 19/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Distrito Capital Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Covarrubias (20 - 23(4) - 4) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Juan Malara(24 - 17(5) - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Covarrubias weighed in at 168 pounds and 9 ounces, while Malara weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Covarrubias came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Rio Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Ponce Carreon, Hilario Rebollar and Seferino Enrique.
