John Riddle vs George Bates

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Federation promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 30/01/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Riddle (20 - 18(7) - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and George Bates(17 - 14(1) - 5) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Riddle and Bates weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Weatherspoon, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Aiton, Waraki Kawau and Dave Loar.
