Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Boxing Organisation promoted show at Nerang Velodrome, Gold Coast,  taking place on 11/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Ashley Crabbe (2 - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and John Crabbe(2 - 21(1) - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Ashley and John weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Phaup, and the three ringside judges are Fraser McNabb, Scott Martin and John Wark.  

Round 1: 

John steps inside.  Ashley pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ashley pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ashley digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ashley lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ashley steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Ashley lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.

Ashley retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  John steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  John is on target with a left uppercut to Ashley's liver.

Ashley throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ashley gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
John connects with a right uppercut.  
John steps inside.  Ashley drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Ashley lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Ashley lands a left hook.  
Ashley lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
John attempts to land a right uppercut, but Ashley slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ashley steps inside.  John throws a left hook, but Ashley holds on to his opponent.  Ashley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ashley lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ashley lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ashley lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...John's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  John's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  John's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
