Ruben Theron vs Ebi Mugabe

Boxing Daily Report from the Jobivore Boxing promoted show at Soweto Hall, Soweto,  taking place on 29/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Southern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ruben Theron (31(19) - 7(3)) who hails from Tembisa, South Africa and Ebi Mugabe(16(13) - 5(2)) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  Theron weighed in at 236 pounds and 6 ounces, while Mugabe weighed in at 237 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Roos Van der Linde, and the three ringside judges are Tshepo Dikgacoi, Justus De Vries and Charel Cilliers.  

Round 1: 

Mugabe lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Mugabe throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Theron steps to the outside and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Mugabe cuts off the ring, trapping Theron in a corner.  Mugabe is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.

Theron is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Mugabe gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Mugabe attempts to land a right hook, but Theron slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Mugabe is looking to close the distance.  Theron pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mugabe lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Theron is looking to keep his distance.  Mugabe is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Mugabe whips in a nasty left hook to his opponents body.  THERON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Theron now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Mugabe steps inside and slams a hurtful right hook into his opponents body.  THERON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Theron almost instantly recovers.

Mugabe closes the distance and forces Theron to back into the ropes.  Mugabe pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Mugabe lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Mugabe senses Theron is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Mugabe lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS THERON!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Mugabe!
