Li Geng vs Yo Qu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Fujian promoted show at Ho Ko Gym, Xiamen,  taking place on 01/09/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on His TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Li Geng (6 - 0 - 1) who hails from Quanzhou, China and Yo Qu(6 - 0 - 1(NC)) from Xian, China.  Both Geng and Qu weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Genjo Tin, and the three ringside judges are HuiK'o Gan, Huang-fu Yow and Jing Kane.  

Round 1: 

Qu is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Geng's body.  
Qu lands a right hook.  
Qu advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Geng in a neutral corner.  Qu lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
