Dave Maurizio vs Amer Abid

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Boxing Organisation promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 19/01/2036:

Clearly Australia Boxing Organisation have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Dave Maurizio (1 - 0) who hails from Townsville, Australia and Amer Abid(24 - 18(9) - 1) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Maurizio weighed in at 111 pounds and 6 ounces, while Abid weighed in at 111 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Gillie, and the three ringside judges are Lewis Mescall, Brad Hopper and Darryl Elliot.  

Round 1: 

Abid gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Abid pivots from in front of his opponent.  Maurizio attempts to land a left hook, but Abid blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Abid quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.
