Jim Daly vs Brendan Elder

Boxing Daily Report from the ALT Promotions promoted show at Swansea University International Sports Village, Swansea,  taking place on 09/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jim Daly (3 - 0) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Brendan Elder(10 - 13(3) - 4) from London, UK.  Daly weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Elder weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edwyn Brodie, and the three ringside judges are Mark MacNevin, Inigo Rury and Glyn Bowen.  

Round 1: 

Daly is looking to close the distance.  Daly pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Daly pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Daly advances into close range and forces Elder to retreat onto the ropes.  Daly lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Daly pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Daly sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Daly is on target with a sharp jab.  
Daly lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Daly is looking to close the distance.  Daly pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Daly steps inside.  Daly sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Daly connects with a sharp left hook.  Daly clinches his opponent.  Daly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Elder tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Daly dabs at his face checking for damage.  Daly has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Daly pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Elder's body.  
Daly lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Daly feints a left, and then attempts to land a cross, but Elder sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Daly throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Daly holds on to his opponent.  Daly leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Daly pushes his forearm into Elder's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Daly to stop fouling.  
Daly is on target with a left uppercut.  
Daly gets on the inside.  Daly lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Elder tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Daly is looking to close the distance.  Elder throws a left hook, but Daly holds on to his opponent.  Daly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Daly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Elder's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Elder's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Elder's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Daly gets on the inside.  Daly pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Daly is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Daly lands a stinging right hook.  
Daly closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Daly steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Elder accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Daly.
