Dillon Mulryan vs Kieran Rodino

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 23/02/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dillon Mulryan (12(6) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Kieran Rodino(4 - 6(2) - 1) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Both Mulryan and Rodino weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Hanken, and the three ringside judges are Ian Suit, Andy Wright and Paul Tighe.  

Round 1: 

Mulryan advances into close range.  Rodino throws a right hook, but Mulryan clinches his opponent.  Mulryan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mulryan is on target with a right hook to Rodino's body.  
Mulryan steps inside and connects with a sharp left hook.  Mulryan ties up his opponent.  Mulryan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mulryan about fouling.  
Mulryan connects with a firm right hook.  Mulryan holds on to his opponent.  Mulryan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mulryan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mulryan lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Mulryan holds on to his opponent.  Mulryan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Mulryan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mulryan is looking to close the distance.  Mulryan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mulryan feints a right hook, and then lands a cross to the head, an overhand right to the head and a cross to the body.  
Rodino sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mulryan hits home with a sharp jab.  
Mulryan steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mulryan lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mulryan lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Mulryan is on target with a right hook.  
Mulryan lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Rodino is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mulryan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mulryan gets on the inside.  Rodino throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Mulryan's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Mulryan closes the distance.  Rodino sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mulryan lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Mulryan clinches his opponent.  Mulryan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mulryan lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Mulryan lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Mulryan closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  Mulryan clinches his opponent.  Mulryan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mulryan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mulryan closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mulryan lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mulryan steps inside.  Rodino tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rodino's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Rodino's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Rodino's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Rodino pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mulryan lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Mulryan connects with a VICIOUS cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE RODINO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rodino recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mulryan gets on the inside.  Mulryan pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Mulryan gets on the inside and digs in a solid right hook to Rodino's ribcage.  
Rodino is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mulryan contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Rodino tries to land a cross, but Mulryan sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mulryan lands a hurtful cross.  RODINO IS HURT!  
Some sustained pressure from Mulryan could be enough to finish Rodino!  Mulryan lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING RODINO TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Mulryan!
