Noel Whigham vs Michael Clough

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 16/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Noel Whigham (20(3) - 2(1)) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Michael Clough(12(5) - 2 - 2) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Whigham weighed in at 175 pounds, while Clough weighed in at 174 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Blake Brown, and the three ringside judges are James Woodburn, Mark Kinzey and Ian Brown.  

Round 1: 

Clough is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Whigham lands a left hook.
