Michael Carver vs Hayden Meyrick

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Royal Bath Hotel, Bournemouth,  taking place on 06/03/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael Carver (16(2) - 1(1)) who hails from London, UK and Hayden Meyrick(5 - 5(3) - 6) from London, UK.  Both Carver and Meyrick weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Harp, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Breckenridge, Ewan Musto and Duncan Whelan.  

Round 1: 

Carver advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Meyrick lands a left hook.  
Carver steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Carver quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carver lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Carver clinches his opponent.  Meyrick leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Carver is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Meyrick tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Carver tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Meyrick blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Carver lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Carver ties up his opponent.  Carver is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Carver to stop fouling.  
Carver advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Meyrick gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Meyrick's body.  
Meyrick advances into close range.  Carver pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Meyrick's liver.  
Meyrick walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Carver lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Carver lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Meyrick gets on the inside.  Carver voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Meyrick accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Carver.  
Meyrick sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Meyrick throws a right hook, but Carver holds on to his opponent.  Carver leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Carver's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carver steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Meyrick gets on the inside.  Carver is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Carver strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Carver tries to step out of his opponents range.  Meyrick sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Meyrick attempts to land a cross, but Carver slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Carver lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Carver steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Carver advances into close range.  Meyrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Carver lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Meyrick throws a left hook, but Carver ties up his opponent.  Carver leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carver is looking to keep his distance and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.
