Diego Soza vs Cris Poveda

Boxing Daily Report from the Ruzgeryan Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Medrano, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 07/09/2021:

Clearly Ruzgeryan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Soza (9(2) - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Cris Poveda(7 - 2 - 1) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Soza and Poveda weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Burgo, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Cura, Joaquin Bacallao and Joaquin Bacallao.  

Round 1: 

Soza closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
