Vidal Belles vs Roman Rendon

Boxing Daily Report from the Chilembe Promotions promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 04/08/2021:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vidal Belles (9 - 0) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Roman Rendon(7 - 2 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Belles and Rendon weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Ledezma, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Llamas, Reyes Amaro and Cipriano Gomez.  

Round 1: 

Rendon advances into close range.  Belles digs in a right hook to Rendon's body.  
Belles hits home with a left hook.
