Juan Chaparro vs Aimon Arcila

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Antel Arena, Montevideo,  taking place on 05/09/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Chaparro (43(34) - 9(8)) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Aimon Arcila(30(11) - 7(5)) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Chaparro weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces, while Arcila weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iago Ramon, and the three ringside judges are Ximen Feria, Manuel Truan and Marjun Pecha.  

Round 1: 

Chaparro is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a jab into Arcila's body.

Arcila is looking to close the distance.  Chaparro digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Chaparro lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Chaparro lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Arcila is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Chaparro ties up his opponent.  Chaparro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chaparro.  
Chaparro steps away from his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Chaparro tries to keep the action at long range.  Chaparro feints a cross, and then lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Arcila is looking to close the distance.  Chaparro hits home with a right hook.  Chaparro attempts to land a left hook, but Arcila blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Chaparro lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Chaparro lands a spiteful jab.  
Chaparro attempts to land an overhand right, but Arcila sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Arcila closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Chaparro is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Chaparro lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Arcila closes the distance and manages to force Chaparro onto the ropes.  Arcila connects with a solid right hook.  Chaparro ties up his opponent.  Chaparro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Arcila pushes his forearm into Chaparro's face.  The ref breaks Chaparro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Arcila attempts to land a left hook, but Chaparro blocks the shot and counters with a nasty right uppercut.  ARCILA IS HURT!  Arcila recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Chaparro is on target with a BRUTAL right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ARCILA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Chaparro throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  Arcila quickly recovers. 
Arcila digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Chaparro tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a telling cross.  ARCILA IS HURT!  Arcila recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Chaparro steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Chaparro lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Chaparro tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  Arcila quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Arcila's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Chaparro is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a hurtful cross.  ARCILA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Chaparro senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Chaparro is on target with a FEROCIOUS cross.  DOWN GOES ARCILA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Chaparro lands a right hook, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING ARCILA TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Chaparro!
