Goga Belsky vs Timofei Popov

Boxing Daily Report from the Ring star promoted show at Ring Gym, Saint Petersburg,  taking place on 04/09/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Goga Belsky (2 - 0) who hails from Saint Petersburg, Russia and Timofei Popov(1 - 1) from Kazan, Russia.  Both Belsky and Popov weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arseni Obst, and the three ringside judges are Daniil Maliutin, Mikhail Kazakov and Gennady Obmochaev.

Belsky advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Popov's body.  Belsky clinches his opponent.  Belsky leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Belsky's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Belsky hits the target with a hard jab.  
Belsky steps inside.  Belsky is on target with a right uppercut to Popov's body.  Belsky attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Popov time to recover.  
Belsky closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.

Popov voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Belsky is whaling away with hooks, but Popov keeps his defence tight.  Belsky is on target with a solid cross.
