Danny Parrilla vs Gus Carruthers

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Alfred Lawson Jr. Multipurpose Center, Tallahassee,  taking place on 17/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Florida Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Parrilla (23(5) - 1) who hails from Orlando, USA and Gus Carruthers(17(3) - 0) from Miami, USA.  Both Parrilla and Carruthers weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hossack, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Guffy, John Owens and Theo Ines.
