Rehman Turan vs Paul Gemmel

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Football), Los Angeles,  taking place on 31/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the North American Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rehman The Emperor Turan (51(40) - 4(4)) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Paul Gemmel(34(2) - 8(7)) from Olathe, USA.  Turan weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces, while Gemmel weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dominic Owen, and the three ringside judges are Rob Prichard, Mark Hyland and Dylan Waddell.  

Round 1: 

Turan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gemmel lands a left hook.  Gemmel throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gemmel connects with a left uppercut.  Gemmel tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.

Turan steps to the outside.  Gemmel tries to land a jab, but Turan sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Gemmel gets on the inside.  Turan lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Gemmel steps inside.  Gemmel sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Turan is on target with a right hook.  
Turan steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Turan switches the action to the outside.  Turan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gemmel lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Turan steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gemmel closes the distance and forces Turan to back into the ropes.  Gemmel pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Gemmel lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Gemmel throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gemmel closes the distance.  Turan lands a right hook.  Turan throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Turan lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Turan sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Turan lands a right uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  Gemmel now seems to have his senses back.  
Gemmel gets on the inside.  Turan tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Turan's body.  
Turan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gemmel tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gemmel steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but Turan slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Turan steps to the outside.  Turan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Gemmel is looking to close the distance.  Turan hits home with a firm right hook.  
Gemmel closes the distance.  Turan throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gemmel lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Turan switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Gemmel sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Turan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS GEMMEL DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Gemmel cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Turan!
