Sierra Pita vs Selestino Mato

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Arena Coliseo, Guadalajara,  taking place on 07/11/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Pita (12(6) - 0) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Selestino Mato(15 - 7 - 3) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Pita weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces, while Mato weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quico Mosso, and the three ringside judges are Zacarias Olguin, Enzo Hinojosa and Reyes Ortiz.  

Round 1: 

Pita closes the distance and drives a left hook into Mato's body.  Pita clinches his opponent.  Pita pushes his forearm into Mato's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pita advances into close range.  Pita sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Pita lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Pita lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pita pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Pita is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Pita clinches his opponent.  Pita is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pita about fouling.  
Pita lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Pita lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mato is looking to keep his distance.  Pita lands a spiteful jab.  
Pita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Mato's body.

Pita cuts off the ring, trapping Mato in the red corner.  Pita lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Pita holds on to his opponent.  Pita tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mato's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mato hits home with a right hook.  
Pita advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Pita lands a left uppercut.  
Pita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pita lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Pita ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pita pushes his forearm into Mato's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pita about fouling.  
Pita sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pita lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Pita ties up his opponent.  Pita uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mato behind the head. The ref breaks Pita's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pita connects with a big right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MATO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mato almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mato's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Mato's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Pita sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Pita pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Pita steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Pita pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Mato's liver.

Pita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Pita steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Pita closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Mato's liver.  
Pita feints a right hook, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Pita steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Pita steps inside.  Pita sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Pita lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Pita knows Mato is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Pita lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS MATO!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Pita walks his opponent into a corner.  Pita EXPLODES a spiteful left hook into his opponents face.  MATO IS DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Pita!
