Chris MacDougal vs John Linn

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 26/09/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris MacDougal (19(12) - 3 - 2) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and John Linn(14(1) - 5(1)) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both MacDougal and Linn weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brin Stackpole, and the three ringside judges are Dale Mostyn, Robert Lowden and Jake Smith.  

Round 1: 

MacDougal sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Linn gets on the inside.  Linn sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  MacDougal lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Linn gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but MacDougal ties up his opponent.  Linn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. MacDougal is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

MacDougal is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.

Some sustained pressure from MacDougal could be enough to finish Linn!  MacDougal lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head, KNOCKING LINN DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is MacDougal!
