Iwao Sugimoto vs Akira Anno

Boxing Daily Report from the Maloian Promotions promoted show at Kure Matsuoka, Kure,  taking place on 27/09/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iwao Sugimoto (11 - 18 - 3) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Akira Anno(30(6) - 10) from Fukuyama, Japan.  Sugimoto weighed in at 248 pounds and 13 ounces, while Anno weighed in at 228 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Taro Mayeda, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Fukuda, Yuji Suda and Takeshi Yokoyama.  

Round 1: 

Sugimoto is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.
