Luca Vinay vs Merrill Bourdelle

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Switzerland-West promoted show at Bois-des-Frères sports centre, Geneva,  taking place on 18/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport Szene Fernsehen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luca Vinay (22(22) - 0 - 1) who hails from Tarant, Italy and Merrill Bourdelle(6 - 22(1) - 5) from Geneva, Switzerland.  Vinay weighed in at 135 pounds, while Bourdelle weighed in at 134 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Montrell Depardieu, and the three ringside judges are Frasier Candeloro, Germain Villechaize and Alain Gourcuff.  

Round 1: 

Vinay steps inside and connects with a firm left hook.  Vinay clinches his opponent.  Vinay throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Vinay.  
Bourdelle throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a big cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE BOURDELLE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Bourdelle quickly recovers. 
Vinay is looking to close the distance.  Vinay sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bourdelle throws a right hook, but Vinay holds on to his opponent.  Vinay pushes his forearm into Bourdelle's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vinay to stop fouling.  
Vinay lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Vinay holds on to his opponent.  Vinay tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bourdelle behind the head. The referee warns Vinay and breaks the clinch.  
Vinay forces Bourdelle to back into a corner.  Vinay lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Vinay clinches his opponent.  Vinay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  Bourdelle almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Vinay lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Vinay crashes a spiteful left hook to Bourdelle's liver.  BOURDELLE IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Vinay is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Vinay ties up his opponent.  Vinay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Vinay lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bourdelle quickly recovers. 
Vinay lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Vinay pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to Bourdelle's ribs.  
Vinay is looking to close the distance and drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Vinay drives a firm right hook into Bourdelle's ribcage.  Vinay holds on to his opponent.  Vinay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bourdelle is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Vinay feints a right hook, and then hits home with a hard jab.  
Bourdelle attempts to land a cross, but Vinay slips the shot and counters with a BRUTAL cross.  BOURDELLE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Vinay is looking to close the distance and forces Bourdelle to retreat onto the ropes.  Vinay sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Vinay lands a right uppercut, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head, AND KNOCKS BOURDELLE DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Bourdelle cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Vinay!
