Hamakona Otimi vs John Waldie

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 07/11/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the New Zealand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hamakona Otimi (14(7) - 6(1)) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and John Waldie(30(1) - 14(9)) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Otimi weighed in at 154 pounds, while Waldie weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Ngarongomate, and the three ringside judges are Bryan Swineford, Antwan Vaughan and Nathan Aiton.
