Pernell Carol vs Rehan Bashir

Boxing Daily Report from the Kuma Promotions promoted show at Riyadh Irani, Riyadh,  taking place on 30/09/2037:

Clearly Kuma Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Pernell Carol (3(2) - 0) who hails from Anderlecht, Belgium and Rehan Bashir(1 - 1) from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Both Carol and Bashir weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waqar Elkhouri, and the three ringside judges are Azam Toure, Rehan Bokeyar and Haaris Anwar.  

Round 1: 

Bashir steps inside.  Carol lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Carol clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Carol pushes his forearm into Bashir's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Carol to stop fouling.  
Bashir attempts to land a right hook, but Carol parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bashir tries to land a cross, but Carol slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Carol drives a left uppercut into Bashir's body.  
Carol lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Carol holds on to his opponent.  Carol is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Carol's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carol lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Carol pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Bashir's body.  
Carol closes the distance.  Carol pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carol digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Carol pivots to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Carol forces Bashir to retreat into the corner.  Carol pivots to the side of his opponent.  Carol lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Carol ties up his opponent.  Carol hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Carol leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Bashir pushes his forearm into Carol's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bashir about fouling.  
Carol lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Carol feints a right hook, and then lands a ramrod jab.  
Bashir is looking to close the distance.  Carol is on target with a left hook to Bashir's body.  
Carol lands a jab.  
Carol voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bashir tries to tag Carol on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Carol steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Carol lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Carol digs in a left hook to Bashir's body.  
Carol gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bashir's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Bashir's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Bashir's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Carol steps inside and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Carol holds on to his opponent.  Bashir leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Carol's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carol connects with a cross.  
Carol is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.

Carol gets on the inside.  Bashir sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Carol lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Carol digs in a left hook to Bashir's body.  
Carol lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Carol closes the distance.  Bashir pivots to the right of his opponent.  Bashir throws a right hook, but Carol holds on to his opponent.  Carol is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Carol's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bashir throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Carol lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Carol lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carol lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Carol lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Bashir almost instantly recovers.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bashir dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Carol lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Bashir recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Carol is on target with a firm right uppercut to Bashir's ribcage.  BASHIR IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Carol lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Carol gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Carol lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Bashir pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bashir throws a left hook, but Carol ties up his opponent.  Carol leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Carol's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carol lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Bashir tries to land a left hook, but Carol sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bashir pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bashir throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Carol lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Carol holds on to his opponent.  Carol leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Carol senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Carol lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body, DROPPING BASHIR TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Bashir can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Carol!
