Darryl Clapperton vs Jack Younie

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Charlotte MacFadden, Charlotte,  taking place on 09/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-North Carolina Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Clapperton (12 - 13 - 4) who hails from Greensboro, USA and Jack Younie(14(8) - 2) from Charlotte, USA.  Clapperton weighed in at 160 pounds, while Younie weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ethan Easton, and the three ringside judges are Arthur Atcheson, Chris Farm and Paul Gath.  

Round 1: 

Younie steps inside and lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Younie holds on to his opponent.  Younie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Younie forces Clapperton to back into the red corner.  Younie hits home with a left hook.  
Clapperton throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Younie lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Younie steps inside and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Younie clinches his opponent.  Younie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Clapperton is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Younie lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Younie closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Younie gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Younie lands a stinging right hook.  Younie clinches his opponent.  Younie pushes his forearm into Clapperton's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Younie about fouling.  
Younie lands a sharp right hook.  
Younie drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Younie advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Younie cuts off the ring, trapping Clapperton in a corner.  Younie lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Younie holds on to his opponent.  Younie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Younie advances into close range.  Younie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Clapperton is looking to keep his distance.  Younie lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Younie gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Younie connects with a sharp cross.  
Younie advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Younie attempts to land a left hook, but Clapperton blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Younie lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Younie walks Clapperton into the red corner.  Younie lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Younie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Younie lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Younie lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Clapperton's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Clapperton's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Clapperton's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Younie walks Clapperton into the corner.  Younie connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Younie advances into close range.  Clapperton pivots from in front of his opponent.  Younie lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Younie drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Younie gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Clapperton finds the target with a jab.  
Younie steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Younie tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Younie lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Younie contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Clapperton hits home with a left uppercut.  
Younie closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Younie is on target with a right hook.  
Younie cuts off the ring, trapping Clapperton in a corner.  Younie lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Younie lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Younie lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Clapperton quickly recovers. 
Younie advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Clapperton steps to the outside.  Younie lands with a stiff jab.  Younie tries to land an overhand left, but Clapperton sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Younie advances into close range.  Younie pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Younie drives a right hook into Clapperton's ribs.  
Younie closes the distance and walks Clapperton into the corner.  Younie lands a right uppercut.  Younie attempts to land a left hook, but Clapperton blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Younie lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Younie pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Clapperton steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Younie lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS CLAPPERTON TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Clapperton almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Younie advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Clapperton's liver.  
Younie drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Younie steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Younie is looking to close the distance and walks Clapperton onto the ropes.  Younie lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Clapperton dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Younie lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Younie attempts to land a left hook, but Clapperton dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Younie drives a solid right hook into Clapperton's ribs.  
Younie drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Younie hits home with a solid cross.  
Clapperton is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but Younie sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Clapperton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand left.  
Younie lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Younie senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Younie lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES CLAPPERTON!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Younie!
