Noah Marn vs James Whitehead

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at 1STBANK Center, Denver,  taking place on 28/11/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Mountain West Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Noah Marn (28(17) - 1) who hails from Boise, USA and James Whitehead(12(2) - 0) from Anchorage, USA.  Both Marn and Whitehead weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Polson, and the three ringside judges are Lewis Fergeson, Bradley Yeamans and Fraser Pringle.  

Round 1: 

Marn pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marn lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Marn tries to land a left hook, but Whitehead blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Some sustained pressure from Marn could be enough to finish Whitehead!  Marn lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS WHITEHEAD!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Whitehead now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Marn manages to force Whitehead into a corner.  Whitehead lands a left hook.  
Marn lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Whitehead tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.
