Shankar Rajan vs Xiaoping Gen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Fars promoted show at Shiraz Sadiq, Shiraz,  taking place on 15/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shankar Rajan (23 - 11(1) - 4) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Xiaoping Gen(19 - 10 - 4) from Shiraz, Iran.  Both Rajan and Gen weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Khalid Sarwar, and the three ringside judges are Amer Farran, Waqas Hannan and Khalid Yusuf.
