Hugh McNiff vs Jose Colon

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, Los Angeles,  taking place on 07/11/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the North American Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hugh Spliff McNiff (10(7) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Jose Colon(25(17) - 1) from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic.  McNiff weighed in at 226 pounds and 4 ounces, while Colon weighed in at 248 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sid Marcial, and the three ringside judges are Kiki Aybar, Sid Marcial and Morgan Reuben.
