Ellis Meredith vs Matthew Herard

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanda Promotions promoted show at Surrey Uren, Surrey,  taking place on 19/10/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Meredith (6 - 8 - 7) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Matthew Herard(8 - 5 - 2) from Vancouver, Canada.  Meredith weighed in at 125 pounds and 5 ounces, while Herard weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noah Tedford, and the three ringside judges are Sam Mortimer, James Wark and Noel Louis-Dreyfus.
