Mel Jones vs Sam Kavanagh

Boxing Daily Report from the All Saints promoted show at Saad Shaikh Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 18/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Jones (9 - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Sam Kavanagh(6 - 7 - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  Jones weighed in at 117 pounds and 4 ounces, while Kavanagh weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glyn Bowen, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carrick, John Ahearn and Inigo Rury.
