Sam Bringhurst vs Joel McAlister

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at The Armory, Minneapolis,  taking place on 15/10/2037:

Clearly Showtime Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sam Bringhurst (10(10) - 1) who hails from Riverside, USA and Joel McAlister(2 - 4 - 1) from Memphis, USA.  Bringhurst weighed in at 135 pounds, while McAlister weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Genz, and the three ringside judges are Phil Bertel, Nathan Langer and Greg Pelle.  

Round 1: 

Bringhurst is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Bringhurst clinches his opponent.  Bringhurst is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Bringhurst leans on his opponent using all his weight. Bringhurst throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head.

Bringhurst pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  McAlister almost instantly recovers.

Bringhurst steps inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Bringhurst lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bringhurst lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bringhurst lands a cross, jab and a left hook to his opponents head.  
McAlister lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Bringhurst lands a left hook.

Bringhurst sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McAlister throws a right uppercut, but Bringhurst clinches his opponent.  Bringhurst is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bringhurst lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Bringhurst lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  McAlister quickly recovers. 
Bringhurst walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Bringhurst lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Bringhurst stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Bringhurst lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES MCALISTER!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  It looks like McAlister has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

McAlister connects with a left hook.  
Bringhurst lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.
