Saturnin Menor vs Alejandro Chairez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Holguin promoted show at Diego Raya Gym, Holguin,  taking place on 20/10/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Holguin Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saturnin Menor (4 - 5 - 3) who hails from Holguin, Cuba and Alejandro Chairez(6 - 18 - 4) from Holguin, Cuba.  Menor weighed in at 126 pounds, while Chairez weighed in at 125 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Guido Ocon, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Arbelaez, Seferino Estrella and Diego Garcia.  

Round 1: 

Menor is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand left.  
Chairez lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Chairez steps inside.  Chairez sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Menor's ribs.  
Menor is on target with a left hook to Chairez's ribs.  
Menor tries to keep the action at long range.  Chairez connects with a cross.  
Menor is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Chairez throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Menor pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Menor steps to the outside.  Chairez lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Menor's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Chairez's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Chairez advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chairez dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Chairez closes the distance.  Menor tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Menor's ribcage.

Menor quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chairez connects with an overhand left.  
Chairez closes the distance and manouvers Menor onto the ropes.  Menor hits home with a right hook.  
Chairez gets on the inside.  As Menor tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
