Montgomery Maille vs Davie Blackshaw

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Maison du Citoyen, Gaineau,  taking place on 10/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Canada-Quebec Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montgomery Maille (24(9) - 9 - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Davie Blackshaw(8 - 28(1) - 8) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Maille and Blackshaw weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Henry Popkin, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Prior, Johnny Smith and Michael Oliver.  

Round 1: 

Maille advances into close range and throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Maille clinches his opponent.  Maille tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Blackshaw behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maille gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Blackshaw attempts to land a right hook, but Maille dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Maille is on target with a jab.  
Maille steps inside and lands a right hook.  
Maille walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Maille drives a left uppercut into Blackshaw's body.  
Maille lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Maille holds on to his opponent.  Maille leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Maille's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maille is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Maille steps inside.  Blackshaw pivots to the left of his opponent.  Maille connects with a solid right hook.  
Maille closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Maille holds on to his opponent.  Maille pushes his forearm into Blackshaw's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Maille to stop fouling.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Blackshaw's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Blackshaw's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
