Angel Malagon vs Yuan Shing

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 05/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Destroying Angel Malagon (24(18) - 0) who hails from Coral Springs, USA and Yuan Shing(26(5) - 9(6)) from Shanghai, China.  Both Malagon and Shing weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Will Ducat, and the three ringside judges are Joey Catherwood, Charlie Valdivia and Alec Deans.  

Round 1: 

Malagon lands a stiff jab.  
Shing gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Malagon connects with a left uppercut.  
Shing tries to land a jab, but Malagon slips the shot and counters with a nasty right uppercut.  SHING IS HURT!  Shing recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Malagon attempts to land a jab, but Shing sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Malagon switches the action to the outside.  Malagon feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Shing is looking to close the distance.  Malagon connects with a firm left hook.  
Shing advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shing hits home with a right uppercut.  Shing tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a BRUTAL right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE SHING WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Shing almost instantly gets his legs back.

Shing steps inside and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Malagon blocks the shot and counters with a FIERCE left uppercut.  SHING IS HURT!  Shing recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Shing quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Malagon's body.  
Shing sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Malagon's body.  
Malagon feints a cross, and then lands with a spiteful jab.  
Shing steps inside and manages to force Malagon onto the ropes.  Malagon whips in a hurtful left hook to Shing's liver.  SHING WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Malagon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  Shing quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Malagon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
