Brandon Meikle vs Joshua Cavan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Munster promoted show at Waterford McCormick, Waterford,  taking place on 24/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Munster Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brandon Meikle (8 - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Limerick, Ireland and Joshua Cavan(21(7) - 3(2)) from Limerick, Ireland.  Meikle weighed in at 130 pounds, while Cavan weighed in at 129 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jason Ayrton, and the three ringside judges are Evan Coghlan, Shamus Brogan and Joshua Fylan.  

Round 1: 

Cavan advances into close range.  Meikle throws a right hook, but Cavan ties up his opponent.  Cavan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Cavan and breaks the clinch.
