Geron Ndo vs Vernon Esua

Boxing Daily Report from the Money Promotion promoted show at Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex, Yaoundé,  taking place on 09/11/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal 2 Cameroon, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Geron Ndo (15(2) - 0) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Vernon Esua(10 - 20(1) - 4) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Both Ndo and Esua weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Briar Meiffret, and the three ringside judges are Oriel Bouchez, Germain Fokobo and Bellamy Cartier.  

Round 1: 

Ndo finds the target with a jab.  
Ndo closes the distance and lands a right hook.  Ndo holds on to his opponent.  Ndo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ndo.  
Ndo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a sharp jab.  
Esua throws a right hook, but Ndo holds on to his opponent.  Ndo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Esua behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ndo about fouling.  
Ndo lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ndo walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Esua throws a left hook, but Ndo clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ndo throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Ndo clinches his opponent.  Ndo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Esua behind the head. The ref breaks Ndo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ndo tries to keep the action at long range.  Ndo feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Esua dabs at his face checking for damage.  Esua has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Ndo is looking to close the distance.  Esua sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ndo digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Ndo gets on the inside.  Esua quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ndo throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 8, lets listen in on the corners...Ndo's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
